The all-analog PW-3 delivers pro wah-wah tones in a compact, space-saving design that frees up valuable pedalboard real estate. The Rich mode of the new BOSS PW-3 offers a distinctive wah-wah voice; it retains the definition in the low range and the fullness typically lost in standard wah-wah circuits.
Looking for a more traditional tone? Simply flip the switch on the rear panel to select Vintage mode and capture the classic wah-wah vibe.
Unlike other pedals that sacrifice sensitivity and functionality to reduce size, the PW-3 strikes the perfect balance between practicality and playability. Its die-cast aluminum chassis is sturdy and significantly reduces footprint, while the smooth pedal action is highly responsive and feels great. Another common issue with smaller pedals is that it’s hard to see whether the effect is on or off because your foot blocks the view. The PW-3 solves this with LED status indicators on both sides of the pedal, making it much easier to tell when the wah-wah is engaged.
