The craziest pedal from Death by Audio. Showing little or no regard for how instruments normally sound, or even how people want them to sound, this pedal pushes our tone into completely wild territory.
- Octave fuzz
- Overload and Gain controls
- True bypass
- Operates at 9V
- Consumes 5mA
- Made in the USA
- Main Volume: controls the output level of the effect
- Overload: sets the threshold at which the pedal overloads. When turned fully up, the pedal won't overload. As the control slides to the left, it crushes the sound more quickly.
- Gain: sliding this control to the right increases gain and distortion
- The horizontal sliders are locked to prevent bending or accidental movement during performance
More details:
The Absolute Destruction uses an IC power amplifier to generate its wild sound. Its gain and overload sliders interact to create a wide range of unique sounds in various positions. You choose, at your preference, how absolutely destructive your sound gets. The further the overload control is to the left, the faster the effect slides into absolute destruction. Crank it even more by pushing Gain and Overload against each other. Lower one or the other for a softer attack and release. Howling octaves, thick fuzz, and your guitar's sound coming from the depths of destruction are at your fingertips. Think of it as a psychotic compressor, or perhaps more accurately, the sound your amplifier would make if set on fire.
