This special edition of the Octavio Fuzz pays tribute to the legendary Jimi Hendrix with a custom finish featuring the iconic 1968 Shrine Auditorium concert poster by prolific and renowned rock artist John Van Hamersveld, remixed by Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration. Wings rise over a psychedelic landscape, evoking the musical journey that Jimi Hendrix’s work takes us on, from solid ground to soaring heights. Housed in a MXR mini enclosure, the Octavio Fuzz Authentic Hendrix ’68 Shrine Series updates the original Octavio Fuzz circuitry for modern pedalboards and musicians.
In its default mode, this pedal roars with super-aggressive silicon saturation. Engaging the octave switch activates the classic octave-up fuzz sound, famously powerful on tracks like "One Rainy Wish" and "Purple Haze." Both modes deliver a range of touch-sensitive fuzz tones that will inspire you to explore uncharted sonic territories, just as the incomparable Jimi Hendrix did when he used the Octavio Fuzz to make history.
